1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing and using the HARLEM WEEK website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

2. USE LICENSE

HARLEM WEEK grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use our website for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

3. EVENT TICKETS & REGISTRATION

  1. Ticket Purchase:
  • All events for HARLEM WEEK are free to the community; however there may be special events or programming that will require paid ticketing, in those instances:
    • Tickets are sold on an “as is” basis
    • Ticket prices are subject to change without notice
    • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated
    • Duplicate or fraudulent tickets will not be honored
  1. Event Attendance:
  • HARLEM WEEK reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone
  • You must comply with all event rules and staff directions
  • Photography and recording policies will be provided at events
  • Events are subject to cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
  1. Cancellation Policy:
  • If HARLEM WEEK cancels an event, ticket holders may receive a refund or credit toward future events
  • Individual cancellations by attendees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

4. DONATIONS

  • All donations are voluntary and tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law
  • Donations are non-refundable except as required by law
  • Designated donations will be used for their stated purpose
  • We provide tax receipts for donations of $250 or more
  • Recurring donations can be canceled anytime by notifying us at info@harlemweek.com

5. VOLUNTEER & INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

  • Volunteers and interns must follow all organizational policies
  • HARLEM WEEK reserves the right to terminate participation
  • Participants work at their own risk and assume responsibility for injuries
  • HARLEM WEEK is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property

 

6. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

  • Scholarship awards are merit-based and awarded at HARLEM WEEK’s discretion
  • Recipients must meet all eligibility requirements
  • Scholarships may have specific use requirements or conditions
  • HARLEM WEEK reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program

7. SPONSOR & EXHIBITOR AGREEMENTS

  • All sponsorship and exhibitor partnerships require separate written agreements
  • Terms vary by sponsorship level and agreement type
  • Sponsors and exhibitors must comply with HARLEM WEEK brand guidelines
  • HARLEM WEEK reserves the right to modify or terminate sponsorships for breach of agreement

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, images, and videos, are owned by or licensed to HARLEM WEEK and protected by copyright law.

You may:

  • View and share content for personal, non-commercial use
  • Link to the website

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or modify content without permission
  • Use our logos or branding without authorization
  • Claim ownership of our content

9. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

By submitting content (comments, photos, testimonials) to our website or social media:

  • You grant HARLEM WEEK a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display your content
  • You represent that you own or have permission to use the content
  • You waive any right to approve how we use your content
  • You agree we are not liable for your user-generated content
